Y-Dot Airlines Flight 905 was a scheduled flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Rufus County International Airport that landed a little after 10:30 AM at Rufus County International Airport. The aircraft was deboarding when the aircraft caught fire destroying the mid-section of the aircraft. As of now the fire is under investigation.

Y-Dot Airlines Flight 905 departed John F. Kennedy International Airport at 8:05 PM on March 16, 2024, and arrived at Rufus County International Airport at 10:33 AM. The aircraft, was a JTY-CA-285, and had logged 150,000 flight hours. The plane was loaded with 155 Passengers and crew. The aircraft was awaiting to be boarded back to John F. Kennedy International Airport. The Jesstopian Aviation Safety Administration is currently investigating the fire.
Flight Crew[]
Flight 905 was captained by 27 year old Marcus Riley who had been with Y-Dot since 2008. He has logged 2,500 flight hours with the JTY-CA-285. His first office was 25 year-old Daniel Heinberg, a German Citizen who had flown for Y-Dot since 2023. He had 800 flight hours in the JTY-CA-285. He captained the JTY-CA-290 since 2021, before moving to the JTY-CA-285.

Y-Dot Airlines released as statement on its website which read as follows:
We are closely following the investigation and are cooperating with JASA and federal investigators to find the cause of the fire that destroyed one of our aircraft and injured 25 passengers and crew. We will continue to provide updates as the investigation progresses. We are also offering effected passengers and the return flight to JFK a 2,500 dollar voucher for their future travel with Y-Dot as well as a free flight to JFK. - Y-Dot Airlines Chief Executive Officer Gina Gangliano.
