Thomas "Tom" Brosnik(August 15, 1958) is a Jesstopian Politician who serves as the 46th Mayor Of Nox City, North Lorray. He succeeded Linda Lee, who served as the 45th Mayor, and was sworn in as 21st Governor of North Lorray on March 15, 2022. Brosnik served out the remainder of Lee's term, which ended on April 15, 2022. On March 25, 2022, Brosnik was reelected to a full term as the City's Mayor. He was sworn in on April 15, 2022.
Career[]
Tom Brosnik started in his career in politics on June 5, 1979, when he was elected as Nox City's Water Board Director. He served as the City's Water Director until being appointed the City's Treasurer where he served until 2005. By the end of 2005, Brosnik ran for the Office Of Mayor, but ultimately failed to receive enough votes to be put on the ballot. He was appointed by Mayor Lee as the City's Chief Taxation Officer on June 11, 2019. On April 15, 2022, Brosnik replaced Mayor Linda Lee, after she was nominated as the State's Nationalist Party candidate for Governor.

First Term[]
On April 15, 2022, Brosnik became the 46th Mayor Of Nox City, following then-Mayor Linda Lee's resignation to focus on her Gubernatorial Campaign. During his first 90 days as Nox City's mayor, he enacted several legislations, travel restrictions and introduced several new infrastructure bills to update Nox City International Airport.
Legislation[]
During his first 90 days, Mayor Brosnik has introduced several legislative packages including increasing the City's Mininum Wage, making the city's minimum wage higher than North Lorray's minimum wage, which is currently 15.50.
On June 1, 2022, Brosnik issued several legislative packages to the city legislature, which would increase spending to provide money for needy families and those who made an annual income of less than the City's average. By July, the packages have gone into affect and over 1.8 million Nox City residents who made under the average median household income were given their first check, which recur every month. It was looked on fondly, by a majority of city residents.
Second Term[]
Brosnik was elected for a second term on March 27, 2024, during the 2024 Nox City Mayoral Elections. He was sworn in for his second full term on April 15, 2024. He will carry out his current term until 2026. He won a very large margin against Nicholas Rodriguez. Brosnik had 501,299 votes compared to Rodriguez's 251,988.
Incident Response[]
Since taking on the role of Mayor, Brosnik promised to respond quickly, efficiently and adequately to any and all emergencies that unfold in the city. During his first full term's swearing in ceremony on April 15, 2022, Brosnik introduced a new City-Wide plan that would be instituted in the event of any form of emergency including natural disasters including, tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires and mass flooding.
2022 Terroristic Bombings[]
On July 21, 2022, Product Mart store 1430 was bombed, which killed 9 people, and injured dozens more, when a terrorist's bomb was detonated at the store. Upon word of the bombing, Brosnik initiated emergency protocols, by locking down the city, and scrambled Nox City Police Department and its specialized departments to respond to the bombing. He also issued emergency funding to residents effected by the bombing.
November 2023 Bombing[]
On November 24, 2023, a bomb was detonated killing 20 people and injuring dozens more. The bombing occurred on the 1500 block of Comcast Boulevard and Admiral Street. State and Federal investigators are on site. Governor Linda Lee ordered a complete lock down of the City. An emergency declaration was signed by Mayor Tom Brosnik a little after midnight on November 25, 2023.

2022 Mayoral Election[]
On June 1, 2021, Brosnik said that he was seeking to replace Linda Lee when she ran for Governor during the 2022 North Lorray Gubernatorial Elections. He launched his campaign on June 25, 2021, and was elected Mayor on March 21, 2022, following the 2022 Mayoral Elections. 2024 Mayoral Election[]
Brosnik announced his 2024 Mayoral campaign on November 25, 2023, and announced that he was seeking another term in office. On March 27, 2024, Brosnik was elected to a second term, and won that with Nicholas Rodriguez. He won the election with over 1 Million votes with Rodriguez getting only 11.44% of the vote. Brosnik had over 88% of the vote, certifying him the winner of the election.

2025 Bid For The Senate[]
On July 24, 2024 at around 1:15 AM, Brosnik announced that he was seeking election to the Jesstopian Senate to "serve this city in a much larger capacity," and said that he was seeking to defeat incumbent Republican Senator Joey Rigg(R-5). His announcement comes just weeks after Rigg says he is seeking reelection to the same office. According to Brosnik, Rigg has done nothing to "reduce inflation," "ease the burden of Nox City families," or "ensured the State's financial stability." He address Governor Linda Lee's as well as his work to lessen the burden of inflation, but said that the federal government needs to work to reduce the high inflation.
On September 20, 2024, Senator Joey Rigg announced that he would not seek a third term to his Senate seat. The implications of this have been described as "one in a million chance" for Brosnik. Brosnik, is likely to easily win the Senate seat as him and Rigg were the only two going for the seat.
