The Senate is the the second House that makes up Jesstopia's Congress which is part of the Bill drafting process, alongside the office in which Supreme Court Justices are sworn in. The Senate also is the deciding factor, in most if not all Impeachment trials(Just how the Senate decides on Impeachment in the United States.) The Senate can also utilize its authority to impeach the Speaker Of The House Of The People.

The Senate is structured in order to prevent Conflicts of Interests In the Senate. The Senate has a multi-level member classification. This means that each Senator may have a different power or authority, unlike the U.S Senate.
Powers and Authority[]
The Jesstopian Senate has very crucial powers and authorities that allow it to govern as the highest house of Congress. The Senate has authority to proposed legislation, conduct investigative hearings, certify results of presidential elections, nominate appoints to various offices across this country.
Other powers the Senate has, which differ vastly from that of the US Senate, is that they can also initiate impeachment proceedings against members of the Senate. However, when it comes to impeaching the President, Vice President or other officials outside of Congress, they have no authority to do that. They can only initiate impeachments against members of the Senate or House.

Jesstopia's Vice President is the Chief Presiding Officer of the Senate during Trials, Hearings, and Senatorial Votes. The Vice President may recess the Senate for any reason within the boundaries of the Constitution. The Vice President is the only Officer in the Senate that has Ultimate Authority.
Senate Majority Leader[]
The Senate Majority Leader is in charge of most clerical and record organization, as well as call the Senate into session, when the Vice President is unable to call a Senate Session or is Unavailable for a Senatorial Session. The Senate Majority Leader is also the leader of the Political Party in which has the Majority in the Senate.
Senate Minority Leader[]
The Senate Minority Leader is the Officer in charge of the Party that has the least seats in the Senate. The Minority is generally in charge of Regulatory addresses, as well as several other functions.
