The Presidential Medal Of Great Sacrifice the highest honor that the President Of The United States Of Jesstopia can bestow on any Jesstopian citizen, leader or other category of individual. Only the President can grant this award, and it is rarely ever granted by a Jesstopian President. The award is bestowed upon individuals who contribute to Jesstopia's individualism, public service or the nation's arts. There is no set date in which an award is given, and the President Of The United States Of Jesstopia can issue at his or her pleasure. Most Presidents will issue this award during his or her presidency.

On November 3, 2020, President Joe Diester enacted a law that established the award. It was passed through the Congress Of The United States Of Jesstopia. The award is the highest honor that a President can bestow on any Jesstopian citizen. The award is part of a series of awards that the President can issue. This includes the Presidential Citizen's Medal, and The Medal Of Valor(military only),
Versions Of The Award[]
There are two versions of the award that can be issued. The Posthumous Award(which would be given to a deceased person/recipient). The second version is The Living Award(given, obviously to a living person.). Both are great honors to receive and have the same importance. The Posthumous award is generally granted to those who died before receiving the award and are generally granted by the President on important dates such as Funeral Dates, at memorials or by invitation by the President of the Family to the Nationalist House.
