Nolan Burmaster(August 27, 1981) is a Jesstopian Politician, Lawyer and State Assemblyman who has served as the Deputy Speaker Of The House Of The People since 2025. He currently represents New Shire's 19th District. He was selected by Governor Thomas Cooke, and confirmed on February 19, 2022. Burmaster has also served as Town Council For Frankfurt County from May 10, 2012 until May 10, 2016. He had also served as Rufus County's Board Of Directors from April 2, 2017 until he resigned on February 18, 2018. He won reelection in 2023, to serve as the Representative on New Shire's 19th Congressional District. On January 2, 2025, it was announced that Burmaster would serve as Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore under Deputy Speaker Matthew Carrington when he assumes office of the Speaker Pro Tempore.

Burmaster has served in Congress for over 10 years and continues to work to better the lives of Jesstopians across the Nation. In his early Congressional days, he often voted against the grain and would lose major support, only to regain support in later campaigns and his support for the war in Afghanistan. During the 2011 U.S Raid that killed Al Qaeda Leader, Osama Bin Laden, Burmaster showed extreme support of America's raid and even praised Obama for his role in taking out the terrorist responsible for the deaths of almost 3,000 Americans.
Following the resignation of Brian Whittier, Burmaster was tapped by then-Governor Thomas Cooke to fill his chair. He was elected to his first full term back in 2023. His current term is set to expire next year, where he plans on seeking reelection to his seat.
Deputy Speaker Of The House(2025-Present)[]
On January 18, 2025, House Speaker Matthew Carrington appointed Burmaster to serve as the his Deputy Speaker. The announcement was made at 10:25 AM and he was sworn in at 10:45. He will serve until September 5, 2025, when the 2025 House Speaker Election take place.
Run For The Speaker Of The House[]
On April 19, 2024, Burmaster, who just 2 years prior became a member of the House of the People, announced that he was seeking to defeat fellow Nationalist and Incumbent House Speaker Gretchen LeWolf. He said that the Nationalist Party needs to rally around the Nationalist party. He says simply giving Jay Laylin the option to continue a bid for the Nationalist House is disgraceful, given that the Constitution was updated to require presidential candidates must be 35 years old to run. He says House leadership should not have allowed him to continue his bid for the Nationalist House.
