Nancy Dianne Yates(June 26, 1968) is a Jesstopian newscaster and political analyst who has served as the 4th Nationalist House Press Secretary under President Jay Laylin since 2024. She previously worked for News 28 as its chief political analyst from 2007 to 2024. Yates is a member of the Jesstopian Federation Of Newscasters. She has won several accolades over her 20 years in the broadcasting business.

News 28(2005-2024)[]

Yates joined NEWS 28 in 2005, working with local stations to provide coverage on political events, elections, trials, Congressional hearings and other legal cases. She worked as a Senior Journalist for NEWS network, before being given the role as Chief Political Analyst for the station and its newspaper outlets. She left News 28 on November 16, 2024 to serve as the 3rd Nationalist House Press Secretary.

Rufus Times(1985-2005)[]

Prior to working for News 28, she worked at Rufus Times, as first a sports journalists, moving up the ranks until she became the Chief Journalist Of Evening News. She worked with several hundreds of sources to bring the latest and most important breaking news. She was instrumental in the hiring of more women at the station, citing the lack of like-minded, creative women. She left the network in 2005, after she was offered a 2.5 million dollar contract with News 28, Rufus Time's biggest competitors at the time.

Nationalist House Press Secretary(2024-Present)[]

On November 15, 2024, then-President-Elect Jay Laylin selected her to be her Press Secretary after his previous appointee, Henry Tankis, said he wouldn’t be able to take the role due to family matters, he appointed her as his Press Secretary.
