The State of Mesa is a Jesstopian State that borders the Sea Of Jesstinian. The State of Mesa was founded on March 24, 1856. The State is the 8th State annexed to the United States Of Jesstopia.

Founded on March 24, 1856 and annexed on September 30, 1857, Mesa is a mostly rocky state that provides for about 89% of Building Material, Metals, and other natural resources for the United States Of Jesstopia. Mesa was named for the type of biome that predominantly consumes the State. The State's Slogan is "The Mining State".
Government[]
The Government Of Mesa is tasked with maintaining order, safety and public health of the State Of Mesa. It is organized with a Governor, Lt. Governor, Assembly Members, Senate Members and State House Members.

The Governor Of Mesa is responsible for many important duties such as signing executive legislation, promoting public health, being the face of the State as well as many other honorary titles. He works alongside the Lieutenant Governor of the State.
Lieutenant Governor Of Mesa[]
The Lieutenant Governor Of Mesa is responsible for representing the State when the Governor is away on trips and is the successor of the Governor if he or she resigns, is impeached or is incapable of performing the duties of Governor.
Geography[]
The State Of Mesa, is a highly mountainous state, which offers a beautiful view of Mount Aldera, as well as the West Akron River and the Great Mesian Ocean. The State is also divided by several large, snow capped mountains to the East and vast oceans to the west.

2020 Census[]
As of the 2020 Jesstopian Census, the State of Mesa is inhabited by 9.2 Million residents. That number, according to the Census bureau to increase to roughly 15.2 Million within the next 8 years.
2010 Census[]
As of the 2010 Census, there were approximately 5.6 Million residents. The number was projected to jump 10 Million in 2020, but fell short as currently only 9.2 Million at the time of the 2020 Census.
