Matthew Roll(September 15, 1980) is a Jesstopian lawyer, and politician who served as the acting Attorney General Of Mesa from August 17, 2024 to November 18, 2024. He previously served as the Assistant Attorney General of Mesa from April 20, 2023 until August 17, 2024. He previously served as a lawyer for Minnings, Commings and Leeson Legal Inc.
Early Life[]
Roll was born in Kemmings, Mesa on September 15, 1980, to parents Susette and Michael Roll. He is one of six siblings and is the middle child of his family. He attended Private Lester Academy, and graduated at the top of his class. Growing up, he was in a decent first class family, and was never far from riches and money. His mother was a lawyer and his father was a businessman and investor.
Assistant Attorney General Of Mesa(2023-2024)[]
On April 20, 2023, when Joshua Wallard was appointed by then-Governor Kirk Paul to serve as the 57th Attorney General Of Mesa, Wallard appointed Roll as his assistant Attorney General. He served in that role until Wallard's resignation on August 17, 2024, and became the acting AG of Mesa.
Acting Attorney General Of Mesa(2024)[]
On May 17, 2024, Roll served as the titular AG until the resignation of Josh Wallard on August 17, 2024. Following his resignation, Roll assumed full control of investigations but did not receive the full powers of the office, which are being delegated to the State court systems and state prosecutorial offices. Governor Adamson approved of Roll serving in this capacity. On August 20, 2024, he announced that he would not seek to be elected as the 58th Attorney General Of Mesa. He left office on November 18, 2024, when James Dunphy was sworn into office.

On August 22, 2024, Matthew Roll annonced that he was seeking office in the Jesstopian House Of The People. This announcement comes after he leaves office in November, as he isn't seeking election as the next Attorney General Of Mesa.
