Joseph F Haney(February 21, 1956) is a retired, former Jesstopian Politician, Lawyer and Political Activist, who served as the 22nd Lt Governor of Mesa from November 20, 2021 - April 11, 2022. He was elected the 22nd Lieutenant Governor Of Mesa on November 19, 2021, and was sworn in as Lt. Governor on November 20, 2021. Joe Haney served as a Senator in Jesstopian Congress from June 1, 1975 - March 9, 1979.

Early Life[]

Joe Haney was born on February 21, 1956 in Little Rock, New Shire, where he worked on his dad's farm from 1969 until early 1970. Haney has 4 brothers each who created their own successful careers in Politics and in Business. Joe was occasionally shown different aspects of Politics but didn't take interest in politics until he graduated college. He then majored in Political Campaign Management, where he won several references to several Political internships with genius politicians such as Claude Leesman(N) who served as Mesa's Governor from November 18, 1976 until November 18, 1978.

Personal Life[]

Haney is married to Joann Haney. They have 4 children, 2 sons, Hunter and Bradley, and two daughters, Katie, and Rachel. They live at their family home located in downtown Alden. After Bradley's death on April 10, 2022, he retired from public service to focus on healing and to promote police reform. He has advocated for victims killed at the hands of police.

Career[]

Joe Haney's career spans decades including serving as a Senator in the Congress Of The United States Of Jesstopia. He also served as Attorney General Of Mesa from May 10, 2002 until 2004. His career also led him to become the 22nd Lt. Governor Of Mesa on November 18, 2021.

Lt. Governor[]

On November 20, 2021, Lt. Governor Haney was sworn in as Mesa's 22nd Lt. Governor. He served from November 20, 2021 - April 10, 2022, after announcing he would step back from the role pending an investigation into his son's death after being shot and killed by the Mesa Highway Patrol after a police pursuit. He resigned as the Lt. Governor Of Mesa to focus on healing with his family, following his son's death, on April 11, 2022.

Retirement[]

On June 7, 2022, Haney announced that he was retiring to focus on spending time with his family and write his new book. He announced his retirement after pushes from his family to do so. He will continue working on his book.[1]

People Against Police Brutality(2022-Present)[]

On August 27, 2022, Haney established the People Against Police Brutality, an advocacy group that aims to work to reform police agencies across the State of Mesa and the United States Of Jesstopia. It meets regularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays to discuss topics of that week. It has garnered nationwide support and has remained a successful organization since. Over the course of the last 6 months, the group has been invited to state governments across the nation and has been welcomed to Congress on two occasions.
