Gregory Lewis Brentwood(April 30, 1995) is a Jesstopian politician who has served as the 24th Lieutenant Governor Of Mesa, since May 9, 2023. He previously served as the Mesa House Of The People Whip from 2019 until 2023. Brentwood was appointed by Lt. Governor Joshua Adamson on April 28, 2023. He was elected to a first full term during the 2024 Mesa Gubernatorial Election.

Early Life[]

On April 30, 1995, Brentwood was born in Lewiston, Mesa, and is the son of Craig Brentwood, a traveling salesman, and Jaden Brentwood. He was born in 1995, and was the second oldest of four children. He has three other brothers. He attended Lewis Gerbert Private School. He was also the valedictorian and holds the school's Academic Achievement Record being the highest scoring student in the entire school during his class. He graduated in 2011 and then attended Herbert Smith Law School, one of the United States Of Jesstopia's most prestigious law schools. In 2015, he graduated college with high honors and was the class of 2015's salutatorian falling slightly behind Yuma Nunez, a major Law School Professor at Bradford University, in Towton, New Shire.

Lt. Governor Of Mesa(2023-Present)[]

On April 28, 2023, Mesa's Joshua Adamson nominated Brentwood to serve as the 24th Lt. Governor Of Mesa. He was sworn in next to Adamson at midnight on May 9, 2023. He was sworn in for his first full term on October 18, 2024, next to Joshua Adamson, who was also sworn in a for a first full term.

On May 10, 2024, Brentwood announced that the State Of Mesa was working towards establishing a law that would allow Jesstopian citizens to aid in the capture and deportation of illegal immigrants. The proposal was raised by himself, and the State legislature is still considering it for passage.

Mesa House Of The People(2019-2023)[]

Brentwood started out his career being elected to the Mesa House Of The People on November 20, 2017, and has served since in various roles in the House. First, he started out as a Junior Lawmaker in Mesa's House. From there he built up a strong reputation for his role in creating and signing the Forester Care Act, in response to the wrongful death of Martin Forester, who died after being given the wrong medications that ultimately led to a severe and violent overdose, on March 5, 2020. He also co-sponsored several bills that would ban the use of trans-ideology in schools across the state. He is a heavy supporter of the Anti-Trans movement, only barring those who are known sex offenders. He has expressed genuine support for members of the LGBTQ+ and trans community who are doing so to live their best lives.

House Whip(2019-2023)[]

On August 9, 2019, Brentwood, launched his campaign to be elected the 109th Mesa House Whip. He won the office on November 5, 2019, and was sworn into office on November 20, 2019. During his tenure, he has held multiple members of the House accountable including 35 Republican lawmakers and 12 Nationalist lawmakers, varying from disruptions to harmful policies and bill proposals. As of August 2022, he was seeking another term as the whip. However, on April 28, 2023, Mesa Lt. Governor Joshua Adamson had nominated Brentwood to serve as the State Of Mesa's 24th Lt. Governor after Adamson succeeds Kirk Paul on May 9, 2023. He has since abandoned his 2023 Whip campaign. On May 9, 2023, he succeeded to the Lt. Governorship following the inauguration of Governor Joshua Adamson at 12:00 AM on May 9, 2023.
