The Governor of Le Mont is the executive or head of state of the State of Le Mont. The current Governor of Le Mont is tasked with operating within the confines of the Jesstopian Constitution and The Le Mont Constitution. The roles and duties of the Governor of Le Mont varies from signing bills into law, signing executive orders, which are used to direct the State Government and the department and bureaus within it. He is also required by the State Constitution to give a State of the State address annually. The date of the address is not laid out in the Constitution, but it must be held every year for the duration of the Governor's time in office.
