Fred B. Lacker(October 21, 2000) is a Jesstopian Politician who has served as the 46th Comptroller of the State Of New Shire since 2024. Previously he sought election to New Shire's Ethics Board where he lost to incumbent Nancy Miller in 2023. The next week he announced his bid as Comptroller Of New Shire. He also sought election to the same office in November 2022, but lost. Lacker served as the 24th Lt. Governor Of New Shire from February 24, 2022 - May 10, 2022. He was appointed the position by Governor Cooke on February 24, 2022. He served as Acting Governor from April 27, 2022 until May 8, 2022.

Early Life[]

Lacker was born in Samson, New Shire on October 21, 2000. He was born at Samson County Medical Center, at 5:42 AM, to parents Lisa Lacker and Ben Lacker. He was the great nephew of Jessy The Great II, according to several documents.

Education[]

Lacker attended Roberto High School and graduated in 2017. He then went to Yale University's School Of Politics and managed to obtain his Masters In Political Science. He graduated Yale in November 2021. He also has a Masters in Business and Financial Management.

Career[]

While Lacker is a relatively new politician, he has managed to obtain the second highest office in the State Of New Shire, as he was appointed the 24th Lt. Governor Of New Shire by Governor Cooke on February 24, 2022. On March 9, 2022, Lacker announced his choice to not continue on a second term as the State's Lt. Governor.[1] On June 25, 2022, Lacker announced that he was campaigning for New Shire State's Comptroller, challenging incumbent Sharon Smith.[2] He ultimately lost to Sharon Smith who was sworn in on December 5, 2022.

Electoral History[]

2022 Comptroller Election[]

On October 15, 2022, it was announced that Lacker could defeat incumbent Comptroller Sharon Smith. As votes were tallied it was shown that he was slowly losing grip on the win. He was officially notified that he lost the election on November 4, 2022, and conceded. He lost to Sharon Smith with 42% of the vote. Smith received 58% of the vote and was elected to her first full time.

2024 Comptroller Election[]

On January 9, 2024, it was announced that Sharon Smith would not be seeking another term as the State's comptroller following her decision to move out of New Shire. Lacker quickly took the opportunity and announced that he was seeking to be elected as the state's 46th Comptroller. He has invested over 2.5 million dollars into his campaign, and raised over J500,000 so far from his campaign. He is also spending over 100,000/month on his campaign ads.

He was elected the 46th Comptroller, and was sworn in on May 10, 2024. This was his second attempt at the office. He won the election in a landslide against David Catter.
