The Director of the Department Of Justice is the overarching title that is generally given to the highest ranking official within the Department's Leadership Classification chart. The Director is also responsible for the running and daily operations of the Department Of Justice. His/Her job is to ensure that the Department is operating at a reasonable pace, and is functioning to defend the Great Nation Of Jesstopia from homeland criminals, terrorists in cooperation with the Department Of Homeland Security, as well as the Department Of Defense.

The Director Of The Department Of Justice has been the highest ranking Official since the creation of the Department in 1805. The Director has also been the highest ranking official(aside from the Supreme Court Justices) in the Criminal Justice System. The director is also the formal chairman of the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Office of the Secretary Of Justice.
