Cole Bindle(September 26, 1949) is a Jesstopian politician who has served as the 5th Vice President Of The United States Of Jesstopia since 2024. Previously, Bindle served as the 1st Senator for Mesa's new 15th Senate District from 2011 until 2023. He previously served as a Mesa State Senator from Mesa's 9th Senate district from 1985 until 2011. Prior to his role representing Mesa's 9th District. he served as a Senator for Mesa's 12th Senate district from 1972 until 1985, and then as a Senator for Mesa's 11th Senate district. From 1985 until 1991, Bindle served as the Senate Minority Whip and then as the Senate Minority whip from 1995 until 2005. He is a member of the Republican Party. He is married to Jacklyn Bindle.


Early Life[]

Cole Bindle was born on September 26, 1949 in Ashburn, Mesa. He was born to parents, Dianne Shaw-Bindle and Scott Bindle. He has 6 brothers. In Ashburn, he established connections with local politicians through his work at food banks, working to establish homeless shelters, soup kitchens and other programs to the homeless. He graduated from Ashburn Valley High School.

Personal Life[]

Bindle married his wife Jacklyn Bindle in 1972 when he was just 23 and she was only 21 years old. They have seven children 4 sons and 3 daughters. They live in Adamstown, Mesa, when they aren't touring the country and campaigning.

Senator(1972-2023)[]

On June 2, 1972, Bindle was elected to serve on the Jesstopian Senate. He served as the Senator for Mesa's 12th district until 1985, working towards funding housing for the homeless and procuring a grant to build free housing for the homeless. He was successful in obtaining funding grants for the homeless programs sponsored for the next 20 years.

On June 10, 1985, Bindle ran for and successfully ran as a Senator for Mesa's 11th senate district. During his time with the Senate's 11th district, he worked towards improving schools, funded scholarships and co-sponsored financial aid to foreign nations. He also negotiated releasing several Jesstopian hostages taken by North Korea.

On September 10, 1991, Bindle was appointed as the Senate Minority Leader and served until 2005. During his leadership he helped get the Republican Party in major positions within the Jesstopian Federal Government. He lost election to Jay Laylin for a fifth term as the Senate Minority Leader.

On June 10, 2005, Bindle sought and was reelected as the Senator from Mesa's 11th district, uncontested. He served until 2011, when he sought the office of Mesa's Governor but didn't receive enough support to be considered. Bindle left the Senate at the end of 2011, when he seat was won by Mark Gabrielli.

On September 10, 2011, he ran as a senator for Mesa's 15th senate district and won that role. The 15th senate district was established on June 9, 2011. He has served since as the Senator for Mesa's 15th senate district. He was seeking another term in 2024 until he was named Jay Laylin's 2024 running mate.

2024 Vice Presidential Candidacy[]

Bindle was named 2024 Presidential Candidate Jay Laylin's 2024 Vice Presidential Running Mate on July 21, 2023. He has been advocating for stronger laws protecting Jesstopians who "don't wish to cave into the mental illness cesspool that has run rampant throughout the United States Of Jesstopia under the McCallum Administration."

Concerns About His Age[]

On August 4, 2024, the Laylin campaign announced that they have been seeking alternate Vice Presidential picks for the sole reason of "concerns about Cole Bindle's Age," and his "readiness to take over the Presidency should something happen to Jay Laylin." Laylin however, has publicly expressed that he "supports Bindle's Vice Presidency," and says "I need the team to support him as the next Vice President of the United States of Jesstopia."

Election As The 5th Vice President Of The United States Of Jesstopia[]

On October 19, 2024, at 2:07 AM, Jay Laylin and Bindle were elected as the next President and Vice President Of The United States Of Jesstopia after a vote bank total of 158 to Cooke's 82. Bindle will be sworn in as the 5th Vice President on November 16, 2024, serving alongside Jay Laylin.

Vice Presidency(2024-Present)[]

On November 16, 2024, at 12:00 PM, Bindle was sworn in for his term as the Vice President of the United States Of Jesstopia. He was sworn in alongside Jay Laylin as President Of The United States Of Jesstopia. As Vice President, he has played a major role in advocating policy to the lawmakers, working with them to get votes on several proposed laws by President Jay Laylin.

Immigration[]

Bindle was put in charge of overseeing border and deportation efforts, that are signed into act by President Jay Laylin. President Laylin appointed him as the man who will oversee the executive of deportation in the United States Of Jesstopia.

Visits To The Jesstopian Border[]

On November 22, 2024, Bindle visited the Jesstopian Border to assess the severity of the migrant crisis, and the influx of illegal immigrants. There he spoke with officials of the Jesstopian Department Of Border Security and Jesstopian Border Protection Agents, and the say the are nervous about their family's safety under the previous administration's border process.

Acting President[]

On January 12, 2025, President Jay Laylin was shot in the face ahead of speech to United Steel Workers. He was rushed to the hospital where he remained in a coma. Bindle then began serving as acting President. His acting president role ended when President Jay Laylin returned to work on January 22, 2025.
