Governor Of Le Mont(2024-Present)[]
On May 27, 2024, after a long and strenuous campaign and election process, Kelleher was projected winner of the 2024 Le Mont Gubernatorial Elections, defeating incumbent Governor Kyle Gorson. On June 25, 2024, he was sworn in as the 2nd Governor Of Le Mont, and will serve out his current term until 2026, where it is very likely that he may seek a second term.
Economic Policy[]
On June 26, 2024, one day after being sworn in as Governor, Kelleher began working on a slew of bills to and signed two executive orders designed to artificially and temporarily ease the burden the inflation was having on wallets of Le Mont families. He signed a temporary order of relief, known as the 2024 temporary inflation reduction stimulus bill. That bill is set to expire in September, as the State legislature continues to work on a permanent solution. He pressured the state legislature to work harder and focus more of its time on inflation reduction, something that has been felt in every state in Jesstopia.
