Barry Wilkenson(September 19, 1972) is a Jesstopian law enforcement officer, Federal Crime Investigative Service supervisor who has served as the 53rd Director Of The FCIS since 2024. He serves under Jay Laylin, and works to investigate federal related crimes, succeeded Sharona Maples who was appointed by John McCallum following the firing of Paul Dalton.
Early Life, Education And Adulthood[]
Wilkenson was born on September 19, 1972, in Little River, New Shire, to parents Carrington Wilkenson and Joanna Wilkenson. He was raised alongside two brothers and a sister. He attended Little River Public Schools and graduated with high honors in 1989. He was the top of his class and expressed early interest in law enforcement. During his adult years, he attended Riverton Community College, a suburb in Little River, New Shire, and graduated with his masters in Business Administration. He would then apply for a few law enforcement academies before the New Shire State Police showed increased interest in him. He was hired with the New Shire State Police, and completed the academy. During his time with the NSSP, he worked his way through the ranks, ending his career as a Corporal. He then moved on to become a member of NSSP's Special Weapons And Tactics unit. He ended his role there as a Captain, before leaving the agency in 2022.
Director Of The FCIS(2024-Present)[]
On November 16, 2024, Wilkenson assumed office as the 53rd director of the PPS, succeeding Sharona Maples who had served from 2022 until 2024. Under his leadership, Wilkenson has vowed to ensure that all operations are conducted within the means of ethics and legality and to ensure no individuals rights are violated.
Jay Laylin Towton Shooting[]
On January 12, 2025, President Jay Laylin was shot in the face before heading on stage to deliver a speech to Steel workers during one of its annual union meetings. Wilkenson has been leading the investigation into the shooting.
