The 2024 Israel Travel Ban was a ban of Travel by Israel nationals into the United States Of Jesstopia initiated by agreements between President John McCallum and leaders of both the Senate and the House. They agreed that Israel's continued attacks on innocent Palestinian and Gaza citizens, especially children is more than enough reason for the ban. President McCallum had previously expressed support for the efforts of Israel's fight against Palestine's Hamas terrorist organization, but rebuked when Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, continued to kill innocent civilians in several attacks on Palestinian hospitals and several videos surfaced of Israel Defense Forces(IDF) soldiers hitting and pushing around Palestinian children. The ban was reversed by President Jay Laylin.
Ban[]
All travel is suspended and Israelis who are planning trips to the United States Of Jesstopia are no longer being granted those bookings by Israel travel companies, as the Federal ban is being issued to all world leaders, who are advising their Israeli citizens not to travel to the country. The ban which was enacted both by President McCallum and Congress cooperatively, Israelis should not expect to be welcomed back to Jesstopia anytime soon. The Federal Government has made it very clear that it will not support terrorism.
Reconsideration To Reverse Ban[]
On August 12, 2024, President John McCallum announced that he would be speaking with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a meeting scheduled for early next month. The meeting will come just months before he is scheduled to leave office. However, Netanyahu said he would be fully cooperative with the withdrawal efforts. On October 5, 2024, John McCallum changed course and decided not to meet with the Israeli Prime Minister and issued that he would not reverse the order.
On September 16, 2024, one month prior to the 2024 Jesstopian Presidential Election, Jay Laylin doubled down on his commitment to reversing the ban, and allowing Israeli citizens to return to the United States Of Jesstopia for travel and other reasons.
Reversal[]
On November 16, 2024, President Jay Laylin reversed the ban holding to his campaign promise of reversing the ban the same day he enters office. At 5:00 PM, President Laylin posted a statement to X(@pojlaylin) announcing that he signed the reversal order much to Israel’s relief and praise.
