President McCallum hears questions from Congress's October 29 Counsel on November 19, 2023
RUFUS - Today President McCallum arrived in Congress to testify about his role in the October 29 air strike that killed 190 children, following two weeks of testimony from former Secretary of Defense Sharron Diez. The President who has fought questions related to the event has begun answering questions related to the event and will testify under oath and if he lies could face perjury charges.
"The President has nothing to hide and he welcomes the questioning for the members of Congress,' said NH Press Secretary Joshua Smite. "President McCallum is expected to be in Congress at 8 this morning."
"It is finally we get some answers about what transpired that fatal day," said Jay Laylin. "The President will be under oath and I am ready to see some real progress in the investigation."
The questioning started with House Minority Leader Gregory Harks, who is heading the counsel that is investigating the October 29 murders. During the first round of questions by the House Majority, the President was asked if he thought his leadership was a bit abusive.
"My leadership and my Presidency have been built on a pillar of understanding, cooperation, and respect for all," responded the President. "Everything that I have done during my presidency has been done with understanding that respect and authenticity, I continue to push those values today."
Harks continued his questioning with basic inquiries into his character and political career. Harks focused his attention on his military leadership. During the questioning, Harks asked about his Military accomplishments.
"What was the reasoning for launching those six missiles into that compound, absent the children who were later discovered dead in that place," asked Harks. "Was it necessary to launch them in your opinion?"
The President paused before he spoke, looking glaringly into Hark's eyes.
"The purpose of the air strike was to kill 6 terrorist group leaders, who were known occupants of the compound, and those leaders threatened my life on multiple occasions," answered President McCallum. "Our military had been tracking their whereabouts for days and we got a confirmation on October 26, 2023, that they were hiding in the compound. When I ordered that strike, I expected them to be in the building. We launched with the belief that they were the victims at the end of the bombardment. To answer the second part of that question, it was completely necessary to launch the missiles, in order to defend Israel and my life."
"Why didn't you think to verify that they were still in the compound Mr. President?", questioned Hark.
"It would have been logistically impossible to send troops in before potentially being spotted by the leaders," answered the President. "As my duty as Commander-in-Chief, we face challenges every day, and I will not put my military in danger if we were given updated information days prior. Enough is seen of military members needlessly being slaughtered. I will not do that here."
The President continues to answer questions and is scheduled to hold a press conference later this week to respond to criticism and answer questions related to other ventures he plans on doing before his term expires next year.
