RUFUS - The driver who struck and killed former Product International Chief Executive Officer George Lesley on August 8, 2024, has died. Following his death, a blood draw was conducted and the driver had a .10 Blood Alcohol Content(BAC).

The driver was a 21 year old female. Her name is not being released at this time, pending notification of her family. New Shire State Police investigators that they suspected that she was under the influence at the time of the crash.

"We know that she was seriously injured at the time of the crash, but she had been alive following the crash," said NSSP Commissioner Lee Adams. "She had a BAC of .10, and was lethargic when our troopers arrived on scene."

Lesley, 45, had died at the scene. He was on his way to Product Mart headquarters for a meeting with Executives Henry Burton and Ronald Chlabowy.

NEWS 28 - Product International's Chief Executive George Lesley has died, and company is scrambling to find his replacement. The CEO died this morning on his way to Product International's headquarters police say.

"We are saddened to learn of the passing of Product Mart International CEO George Lesley," said Product Mart Stores Inc CEO Henry Burton. "He was a great asset to our company and his dedicated service to our company will forever be appreciated. Obviously there is a lot that will be going on behind the scenes, but our prayers and condolences to the Lesley family at this time."

The company is now scrambling to find a replacement for Lesley who served as the Chief Executive since 2021. Product International's Chief Operations Officer David Ramirez is filling in that role until a permanent replacement is named. The selection process could takes months before a permanent replacement is found.

"His death is most definitely unexpected, so our company was not prepared to deal with this change," said David Ramirez. "We are working vigorously to find his replacement as quickly as possible."

PEACH TREE - Product Mart Stores Inc has been notified that Product International Chief Executive Officer George Lesley has died. The company said that he died in a car crash on his way to Product International's corporate headquarters this morning.

ALDEN TIMES - Former Product International Chief Executive Officer Tom Bradley has died at the age 57 years, and is being remembered by those who knew and worked with him.

"He was a one of a kind, decent man, who cared deeply for his associates, fellow co-workers and loved to have fun at work," said CEO George Lesley. "He was a deeply invested man who only wanted Product International to succeed as a company and worked heavily to ensure policies were created to foster a fun and caring work environment."

The death of Bradley was announced by his daughter who was grateful for the thoughts and prayers. According to his family, he was battling a brief illness before passing.

RUFUS - Former Product International Chief Executive Tom Bradley has died at the ripe age of 57. Bradley served as the Chief Executive Officer of Product International from 1990 until his medical retirement in 2019. During his tenure, he helped lay out the foundation for the exponential growth of the brand which is now led by George Lesley.

"Bradley was a pioneer, an inventor who loved Product International's diverse culture, and investments in its associates," said CEO George Lesley. "His laughter was contagious and his leadership was unmatched. I had big boots to fill when I took over in 2021. During the transition process, he encouraged me to get involved with our stores and associates to build a strong rapport with associates. It saddens me to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they navigate this unbelievable loss."

Bradley died following a brief illness at home surrounded by family, according to his daughter. She said the family is unbelievably rocked by his death and they are finding it hard to understand what happened.

A memorial service will be held next week and his funeral will be on Tuesday. George Lesley has expressed his deepest sympathies to the family.

JESSTOPIAN TIMES - Jesstopian retail giant Product Mart, says that its doors will be closed alongside, Westley's Home Grocers, and Product Mart Express stores will also be closed. According to Product Mart Stores Inc, and Product Mart Holdings Inc, Product International says its stores will be open on Easter however.

"We know that all Product Mart affiliated brands with the exception of Product International will be closed Easter. Furthermore, we expect that our stores will reopen on Monday," said a company spokesman. "Product Mart and its investors will continue to meet for regular board meetings if the need arises. Hourly associates and employees will receive holiday pay and new benefits can be expected the second week after Easter."

The company said in a recent statement that it would fulfill orders starting on Monday, April 10, 2023. They said that orders placed on April 9, 2023, would not be pushed through until that Monday. Orders scheduled to be delivered on April 9, 2023, will arrive as scheduled, but Product Mart says that customers should "continue to track their packages via the Product Mart Tracker."
