NEWS 28 - President John McCallum was welcomed back to Polton with large crowds, cheers, hand claps and gifts, courtesy of the Polton people. The people who admire King Georgie V, were very happy to see him return to the Kingdom, tears in their eyes.

NEWS 28 - President McCallum is scheduled to fly to Polton in less than two weeks to meet with King Georgie V of Polton, who is continuing work on creating a democracy after centuries of being an absolute monarchy for over 1500 years. King Georgie V, the newest monarch of Polton took the throne on February 25, 2023, signed his first major declaration, that being the Reversal of Royal Decree 8202, entitled: Royal Authority To Dismiss Members Of His Majesties Government And Removing Rights Of Citizens To Host And Hold Free And Fair Elections.

President McCallum's state visit will be his last to Polton before he leaves the Presidency in November. His role in Polton History is already being regarded across the country with celebrations of the President, who, in every case possible, as pleaded to NATO and other allies of Jesstopia, to recognize Polton, at least as a friendly nation to democracy. He continues to work with King Georgie V as he works to creating two houses of government, since his father took those houses of Government away in 1962.

"The people of Polton think very highly of President John McCallum and we look forward to having him back here," said a Polton citizen. "He is our Nation's Savior. Our country will honor him and we will miss him when he leaves office in November."

The President's plane will leave on April 14, 2024, and he won't meet with King Georgie V until the next day on the 15th sometime in the afternoon. The meeting will take place behind closed doors, but questions from the Polton and Jesstopian press will happen before the meeting.

RUFUS - Months after his trip to Polton was postponed, President John McCallum is finally making his trip to Polton to meet with King Georgie V to discuss establishing a strong Constitutional Monarchy that was proposed by King Georgie V.

"The President looks forward to meeting with His Majesty King Georgie V," said Press Secretary Joshua Smite. "The President has been eager to get back to Polton to discuss how to get Polton on track to becoming a globally recognized democracy after centuries of being an Absolute-Monarchy."

The President whose trip is scheduled to kick off on April 15, 2024, will leave for Polton on April 14, and will meet with King Georgie V at little after 2:00 PM. The President will be accompanied by his Wife First Honorable Lady Amber McCallum.

"His Majesty King Georgie V, very much looks forward to seeing the President and his wife and looks forward to welcoming them back to his kingdom," said a spokesperson for the King. "He also looks forward to a very productive meeting with the President and getting a functioning democracy going here in the Kingdom of Polton.

RUFUS - Earlier yesterday afternoon, President McCallum issued a directive targeting the recent reports filed by Federal LGBTQ employees, about harassment incidents.

In the directive, he issued that ‘any employee that engages in, participates in, organizes a targeting of employees of the LGTBQ community shall without penalty, be subjected to a consequence of no more than to be placed on administrative leave. It is also addressed that any federal employee who continues such behavior will face termination of employment.’

The Nationalist House confirmed that the President did in fact approve the directive and cited the need for more inclusivity in the workplaces each employee operates. The directives are in effect as of this morning.

President McCallum has also announced that he will attend a meeting with Polton King Georgie V next month.

NEWS 28 - Polton King Georgie V's 6 year old son Prince Matthew is set to become the next in line for the Polton throne. But, while that is years and years away, we wanted to know, What Will His Title Be when he ascends the throne.

According to Poltian Royal Code and Tradition, a King generally makes his or her title using some form or combination of his/her full name. For example, King Georgie was Georgie Marque so he went with Georgie V. Same for his father King Marcus II. So keeping with tradition, it is likely that Matthew's title will either be King Matthew I or could be King Victor I. Either way, he'd be the first of either Matthew or Victor.

But if he chooses not to go that route, he could become either King Marcus III or King Georgie VI, as a tribute to his father. He could also claim the title King Astollo I, in honor of his great great grandfather, who was not in line for the throne.

But whatever name he chooses, I'm sure that he will win over his people, if he exhibits the same traits and characteristics of his father Georgie V. He will choose his name after officially ascending the throne. While the young Prince is years from becoming King, planning for his ascension is consistently evolving, changing and mapped.

ALDEN TIMES - Polton King Georgie V has officially been crowned and is on his way to completing a major milestone in his reign. The King was officially coronated at 10:45 AM, with the beginning of the ceremonies starting at 9:00 AM. The King recited several religious rights and vowed his support of all religious sectors across his Kingdom and realms.

"Today was a very special day for Polton as it has just coronated officially, King Georgie V, which will allow him to focus on getting more work done, and ensuring a meeting between himself and outgoing Jesstopian President John McCallum, to discuss establishing democracy within the country. We are ready to see what our newly coronated King will do."

"I will reign with the freedoms, rights and fairness of all Polton's in mind, and will ensure I work to end the problems that this Kingdom and the realms face. It is going to be a challenge to continue pursuing a Democratic Monarch and I look forward to the challenge of changing our government after 120 years of failures from previous Kings," said King Georgie V. "As I now officially take this crown, I pledge my service to all Polton's who, with their consent, hold me as their true and rightful King."

The Kingdom was light up with fireworks to alert all Polton's of the King's coronation and official crowning. The ceremonies moved to Cedar Palace, In Cedar Mountain, Polton.

DUKE - King Georgie V has formally been crowned King of Polton. The King waited 8 long months, before he was able to get his crown.

According to viewers, the ceremony was full of elegance, and the King looked great in his suit with his ceremonial medals. Many say he looked better than his father did when he was coronated back in 1959.

”My promise to you all is to reign with fairness to ensure all Poltons have the freedoms set out in the new Polton Constitution of 1979,” said the King during his coronation address. “My father most definitely left a bad taste in many of your mouths, but I promise to you all now, I will be a King for the people, not of. I will work to ensure the basic human needs are met and to ensure a lifetime of dedicated and honorable service.”

The King later addressed members of his cabinet who worked with the Coronation planners to ensure everything went smoothly. Amber McCallum wore an outstanding red dress to show off her support for Polton’s people and their newly coronated King.

Several ceremonies will commence later tonight and the First Honorable Lady McCallum and Nationalist House Press secretary Joshua Smote leave back for the United States of Jesstopia.

NEWS 28 - King Georgie V Of Polton will be coronated today, and as the event gets closer, we are here to outline important events that will take place, notices to Poltians across the nation, and what visitors of the Coronation need to know.

First and foremost, Poltians are not allowed to drive in any part of Duke that is within 25 miles within Duke Palace. Police will be around to ensure that drivers are avoiding the area. Police say no drivers will be authorized between East Palace Street and Castle Ridge Boulevard.

Secondly, anyone who is attending the King's Coronation, must wear formal attire, so ensure ladies are wearing a dress, and men and boys are wearing suits. The King's Guard will also be ensuring dress codes are strictly enforced.

Third, streets around the palace and Riverview could be blocked off for foreign dignitary travel, including the motorcade of Jesstopian First Honorable Lady Amber McCallum, and Prime Minister Fredrick Ricketts.

Tickets to the King's Concert, are for sale at a cost of 85.00 per person not invited by the King. The concert will take place at 12:00 following the King's Banquet.

DUKE, POLTON - King Georgie V's coronation day has arrived, and as he prepares to take his crown, he is engaging with Poltians in ways that his father never did. By asking them what they want to see change throughout the country. The King's reign started on February 25, 2023, when his father died of underlying medical conditions. When he took the throne, he promised to be nothing like his father and proved himself early into his reign by establishing a democratic counsel to turn Polton into a democracy.

"The King's reign had begun 8 months ago, so his role in Polton remains unchanged even before being coronated," said an expert on the Polton monarchy. "The coronation just gives the King his crown, which will be used as a symbol of his reign."

Queen Lorraine will attend the ceremony but she isn't looking well. Several sources say that she is in her final years, as she struggles with mobility. The Queen is the King's second closest advisor, next right to his wife.

The coronation ceremony will begin at 10:00 AM, but the King will start the procession to Duke Palace at 9:00 AM. He will be joined after the ceremony for a state banquet. The King will then, meet with his Privy Counsel to discuss his funeral plans further, for when he dies.

His son will also receive several homes to have for him and his future kids as provided by the current Polton Constitution. He will, at the age of 6, receive 6 mansions and two private homes under the Royal Crown.

RUFUS - According to the Nationalist House, both First Honorable Lady Amber McCallum and Press Secretary Joshua Smite have landed in Polton. They are scheduled to meet with King Georgie V later this evening.

"It is a surreal moment to be here and to see the country that we are working so hard to build a strong relationship with," said McCallum. "We were welcomed with warm smiles and loud cheers. It's refreshing."

First Honorable Lady McCallum's Presidential Protective Service team are being housed in Duke palace, and First Honorable Lady and Josh Smite are also being housed in rooms right next to the Royal Bedroom.

Female Palace workers have said they are happy that the First Honorable Lady is there and they are preparing her for the coronation tomorrow. The coronation will begin at 10:00 PM, and the King will parade through Polton, before arriving at his coronation ceremony at Duke Palace, his birth place.

NEWS 28 - As Polton King Georgie V's coronation takes place in less than 2 days, the Kingdom is preparing to see a fairly popular King get his crown officially. The Kingdom has had mixed feelings about the coronation, but the main focus has been that President John McCallum won't be attending.

"While King Georgie is disappointed, he is very understanding of the circumstances regarding his inability to make it, but he has sent his warmest congratulations, and best wishes," said Larry Naussar, the King's new personal aid. "We look forward to seeing Mrs. McCallum and Press Secretary Joshua Smite."

On the cusp of the coronation, many activities are currently underway at Duke Palace, but even the planning phase is still in its mid-stage. The Palace said that "all events and activities, as well as the dress-wear, is still being coordinated," and also said that the "King opted for a more simple dress style and he will only bare his crown and a stylish suit that he will use during the coronation on October 5."

However, several foreign dignitaries have declined the invitation to go to the coronation or are unable to attend due to national obligations or were told not to attend altogether.

US President Joe Biden was one of the world leaders not invited to the coronation and told First Lady Jill Biden not to come. Former US President And Former First Lady Melania Trump were asked but they declined due to obligations in the US regarding Trump's legal battles.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declined the invite but said that one of his cabinet ministers would attend in his place. He wished the Poltian King a successful reign and congratulated him.

French President Emmanuel Macron was invited but the invitation was not well-received by him. He reportedly threw the invitation into a puddle outside his presidential residence.

Mexican President López Obrador said he wouldn't attend the coronation due to Polton's heavy ties with many enemies of Mexico.

Prime Minister Fredrick Ricketts of Cambridge said he'd attend the coronation but specific requirements would need to be met, something the King was unable to provide. Ricketts will no longer be attending the coronation.

President McCallum, as mentioned before was invited and was planning on going, but due to an injury in a Nationalist House fall, he'd be unable to attend. He is sending his wife, First Honorable Lady, Amber McCallum. She's flying out to Polton tomorrow to meet the King before his big day on October 5, 2023.

Other foreign dignitaries weren't asked including German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, North Korean Leader Kim Jung Un, and Chinese President Xi Jinping were also not invited.

NEWS 28 - As Poltian King, 33 Year-Old Georgie V prepares to be coronated after ascending the throne on February 25, 2023, following the death of his father, several guests who have been invited personally by the King may not attend.

Jesstopian President John McCallum said that he may not be able to attend after his fall has left him unable to travel by airplane or out of the country. His doctors say that it would be very unwise to travel with the type of injury which could be elongated by travel and the pressure and weather changes between New Shire and Polton.

"While the President would like to attend King Georgie V's coronation, his doctors today released a notice to him saying travel would heavily impact his recovery time after his fall last month and the surgery that he also underwent at the end of last month," said Nationalist House Press Secretary Joshua Smite. "He may not be able to attend the coronation in person, but his spirit is with Polton, the young King, and the entirety of the Royal Family as they prepare to coronate Georgie."

The King has extended understanding to the President and says he "completely understands the President's current health and his need to stay home."

ALBERTA - Prime Minster Fredrick Ricketts has announced that Hurricane Daniel has finally left the capital province where it will begin it's slow journey to Derbia, the third largest province(population-wise).

"With the storm now leaving Alberta, we here at the Lecton Hall, can begin working on issuing directives, send funding to effected towns and villages in the outskirts of Alberta and prepare rescue operations for stranded Cambridgians," said PM Ricketts. "We still have so much work here in Alberta but we are also monitoring Daniel's progress towards the East towards Derbia. Emergency evacuations are continuing to be carried out by local officials there."

As the storm inches closer to Mesa's coast, Cambridge's government is preparing for the worst of the storm. Derbia, Canton, and Bradford are directly 30 miles of the eye of the storm, and will receive heavier damage as the coastal cities struggle to evacuate quick enough."

"It is sad to hear that Cambridge and Jesstopia are being or will be battered by the devastating impacts of Hurricane Daniel," said Polton King Georgie V. More aid and resources are being requested by Cambridge, something President John McCallum has been trying to push through Congress, who has been reluctant to send any further funding to Cambridge. Cambridge officials are eagerly awaiting Jesstopia's aid, but some officials are slowly losing faith.

RUFUS - President McCallum is scheduled to visit Polton early in September and will meet with King Georgie V to discuss continuing to aid him in establishing a Constitutional Monarchy, and Monarchy that would serve as the head of state, such as how President McCallum is head of state of Jesstopia, and make the parliament the sole legislative body, while King Georgie V would only serve to represent the nation as its State Head.

"I feel as though we will make impactful progress as the meetings continue. King Georgie V is an incredibly open man and is willing to rebuild or rekindle once broken relationships with the major global superpowers," said President McCallum. "We will discuss the outline for a parliamentary Government and ensure that the monarchy survives. We are also committed to providing financial assistance for the transition to a Constitutional Monarchy."

Polton King Georgie V has issued that he is 'greatly appreciative' of President McCallum for helping the nation getting a stable government created and ready for implementation. He says that it continues to work on establishing a stable parliament.

DUKE PALACE - King Georgie V has said in several statements that he hopes his kingdom will be granted a full relationship with the United States Of Jesstopia as the new King works to resolve ongoing conflicts with the world brought on by his failed ruler of a father, Marcus II.

In a never-before speech, King Georgie V addresses the Poltian people for the first time, since King Marcus I gave his last address to the people.

"It is my hope that we can lead Polton into the next 100 years full of hope, prosperity and democracy, and my hope for our Kingdom to reach the success that I know it can achieve. It is my hope that by turning our nation into a democracy, it will open our nation from support from not only Jesstopia, but the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Austria, Germany, France and major global superpowers," said King Georgie V. "Our nation has fallen to the corruption of the Communist countries, by my, and I hate to say this, an Anti-union King Father, Marcus II. I want to unify our country and make stronger, safer and a better place to live for all."

King Georgie V has been working to establish Jesstopia-Polton Relations and is committed to ensuring prosperity for both countries. Many foreign leaders including Prime Minister Fredrick Ricketts, Jesstopian President John McCallum and Justin Trudeau all say that he is willing to work towards peace and cooperation. The King is still discussing a democracy with his Counsel of Peers and his Democracy Counsel.

The Counsel will meet with King Georgie V on May 25, 2023. His Majesty's Policy Counsel will also meet to discuss the next moves relating to establishing two houses of parliament, which would succeed the current King's Parliament. Additionally, the King would also have to focus on ruling while the new Parliament is reformed and built.

DUKE, POLTON - According to a recent poll conducted by the Royal Survey Board, and several other independent surveys revealed that King Georgie V is one of the most popular kings to have ever ruled coming even before his grandfather Marcus I.

Marcus II ranks as the least popular King and was ranked the worst King in terms of Economic policy, war policy and other topics including Poltian rights. Marcus heavily opposed same-sex marriage and transgender rights, and often thought of them as the type of people to be executed in public.

Georgie V has been more tolerant with the transgender individuals and those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. He has even expressed interest in strengthening their rights. He was also seen hosting a Gala for the LGBTQ+ at Duke Palace, something they call "incredible".

"The King is working with several LGBTQ+ groups to ensure that they assume more rights under the Writes Of King Georgie V, the official laws of the Kingdom Of Polton," said Mack Haldern, a top aid to King Georgie V. "He is working hard to make his subjects proud and has already garnered support from Jesstopian President John McCallum, who is working to create a Joint Board of LGBTQ+ Community between the two countries. King Georgie V is invested in the nation's somewhat-democratic future."

"He really is showing us how different he is from his late father, and how willing he is to turn "his" nation into a semi-democracy," said several Poltian citizens. "He has tried so hard to not be his father, a mean, cruel king and the entire nation sees it and we support him. We love him and that is it. We support him and he has our pledge to bare true allegiance to him."

Many Royal experts say that his work will go down in history. Many say they believe he is a one-of-a-kind, King, working solely on promoting democratic ideas, and expressing those through different mediums. Experts believe that King Georgie V will go down in history as the most open, honest and caring King the kingdom has ever seen.

RUFUS - President McCallum says that he has advised the Jesstopian Air Force to shoot down any aircraft that attempts to violate Poltian Air Space and says that aircraft from North Korea, China and Russia are substantial threats to both Polton and The United States Of Jesstopia.

”Our Department of Defense chief strategist says that Russia has made over 10 separate threats against King Georgie V, and says most of the threats are credible,” said Press Secretary Josh Smite. “President McCallum says he is continuing to to monitor the Russians and will work to ensure King Georgie V remains safe.”

The Jesstopian Military is operating a joint base in Duke to ensure that the Kingdom remains protected from outside threats. The risk assessment is done every two days and will eventually be done every 5 days.

NEWS 28 - Early this morning, it was announced via global news, that King Georgie V, authorized the planning of Constitutional monarch that would begin in 2044, and the absolute reign of a Polton King would be coming to an end.

"King Georgie V has been so invested in building back a better relationship with Democratic countries that he has slowly begun transforming Polton into a Constitutional Monarch," said Marcus Ven Buren, an expert on the Poltian Monarchy. "His duty to his country and his people is crystal clear, and many nations are taking note, as he continues to prove to be a fair, kind and very caring King."

King Georgie V proudly announced that his plans to transform his Kingdom from an absolute monarchy to a constitutional monarchy had already begun. The words he spoke, to the people of Polton, spoke volumes to his character, kindness, power and influence was palpable. Many of the Poltian citizens cried (happy tears) when he announced that he would be limited by parliament in 2044. Many others approved of the King that may have not previously agreed with the Monarchy to start with.

RUFUS - Poltian King Georgie V, outright refused to go to his father's funeral calling him a "traitor on the people of Polton," and a "dictator." The King says that he would also refuse to associate himself with his father's reign, calling it a "severe disregard for human dignity."

His mother, former Queen Lorraine, was reportedly angry claiming that he should have gone, and citing that it was his duty as Monarch to attend the funeral of his predecessor and father. King Georgie V had a quick response to that saying: "What about King Marcus I. My father didn't attend my Grandfather's funeral due to 'Differences in opinions."

Many fans of King Georgie V came to his defense citing that a "former Queen should not be speaking disrespectfully to a reigning monarch." They said that "Lorraine should stay in her place and bow down to the righteous King Georgie V."

King Georgie V, who took the throne on February 25, 2023, quickly knocked her back to her place. Georgie V's popularity skyrocketed after that moment. According to several polls, Lorraine's popularity decreased following Georgie V's ascension to the throne.

In a statement released by the King, he said the following:

"Due to my father's failings as King, to unify and create a fairer, stronger, and safer Polton, I will not attend his Majesty King Marcus II's funeral for I believe my morals and premonitions do not align with that of his, nor do I want to be associated with any part of his reign, including the escalating tensions between Polton and the United States Of Jesstopia. It is thus decided that my attendance as King Of Polton, to my father's funeral, will not be and I will remain at the Royal Palace in Duke. I will privately mourn and I will not speak publicly about his death nor the mourning that our family has done."

The King also refused to answer questions about if the Royal Family was falling apart. He returned to the Royal Palace after the interview.
