RUFUS - The trial of President McCallum wrapped up day two yesterday, and day three has been scheduled to start this morning. Evidence presentations have begun and many senators say they believe that President McCallum’s chances of getting off as not guilty are becoming a very real reality. During day one of the presentations of evidence which included visitor logs, that President McCallum’s legal team argues shows no visitors, either when he was Vice President or during his Presidency, ever were admitted through the Nationalist House doors, something that could completely derail the claims that he raped the victims during his time in the Nationalist House.
“President McCallum entered office on November 16, 2018, when Joe Diester was sworn in as the 1st President of the United States Of Jesstopia. In our findings and research, we have been able to find no record showing that Mrs. Marque, was ever allowed on the grounds or in them,” said McCallum’s lead attorney Rick Lancel. “This evidence is crucial to his innocence. The President has regarded his innocence highly and has yet to refute his innocence as he says this lawsuit is a ‘scapegoat game aimed at ending my legitimate presidency’, but I will continue to fight the accusations.”
The Trial will enter day three this morning, and investigations will draw a final conclusion as to the reliability of Lillian Marque’s claims and will determine if the President will be guilty of the charges against him. Day two of evidence presentations will also begin today, and are expected to last for the next two weeks as senators on the Senate Ethics Committee hear out the case. President McCallum is expected to be at the trial starting next month, and will testify before the committee and will provide information on his whereabouts during the supposed events that are being brought against him.
President McCallum has maintained and defended his innocence since day one, and investigators are starting to believe that there is some truth in what he is saying. They also say they can’t make that decision until all evidence, witness testimony, and other documents, video logs are presented and heard. Senators from across the Committee are working to sift through as much evidence as they can in these next two weeks and are working around the clock to re-examine evidence while the trial is not going on.
As Day three of the trial gets underway, and as day two of evidence presentations kicks off, many Nationalist Party members bite their nails as the evidence is heard, as does the Republican party to determine if an impeachment trial should be formally launched, but many now are saying that the impeach inquiry isn’t likely to come any time soon, if at all.
“While our party has maintained that we would like to see an impeachment inquiry get launched, new evidence suggests that it may not happen for some time,” said Senator Marshal Arins. “We are waiting to hear the facts and evidence of the case and can’t properly make that decision at this point in time. We are continuing to monitor the evidence for any potential for an impeachment inquiry, but at this time, no active impeachment is being sought.”
