NEWS 28 - President John McCallum and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet in Jerusalem to discuss the conditions of Jesstopia's full military withdraw from Gaza. Netanyahu says that he supports and will continue to support the full military withdraw.
Jesstopia announced that it was seeking to withdraw from Gaza, but the plans weren't expected to be discussed until later this year. But as President McCallum prepares to leave office, he is attempting to set up the beginnings of the withdrawal.
"I will meet with Jesstopian President John McCallum while he looks for effective and safe ways to withdraw from Gaza, ahead of the full military withdrawal of troops from the Gaza strip," said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "We will fully cooperate with Jesstopia's plans to full withdraw. We expect this meeting to go very well and we hope that it does."
Both Israel and Jesstopia have made mutual agreements to end the Israeli travel ban which President McCallum signed back in April. But now that Jesstopia has formally laid out plans to withdraw fully from the Gaza strip, both countries seem to understand what the withdrawal means.
"I look forward to a productive meeting with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to get a full plan of action laid out, which will result in a successful and full military withdrawal from the Gaza strip. Mr. Netanyahu has made it clear that he wants to aid Jesstopia in anyway he can," said President John McCallum. "We want to end this war as quickly as possible, to ensure the best outcome for both our withdrawal and the support we can give to those affected by fighting in Gaza."
The talks won't likely result in an agreement under McCallum's presidency, but I believe he is hopeful that the next President can negotiate that withdrawal from Gaza with the agreements he is hoping results from next month's talks.
