ASHVILLE TRIBUNE - Governor Westley Bronson has been sworn in for his third term in office, with the worst inflation and violence in the State's history. According to reports, inflation is at a record high at 21% and violence running rampant around the state. In his inaugural Speech he addressed the high inflation and rampant violence.
"Our state is facing the worst inflation and crime rates in the history of this State," said Governor Westley Bronson. "I am continuing to address these issues as I always have and am committed to reducing inflation by 25% by the end of the year. I am committing over 250 million dollars in ending violence within the state and will continue to provide resources to aid in ending such violence. We have a great state, but we just need to unlock it's greatness. I am confident that I can do that during this term."
Governor Bronson says his third term will focus heavily on reducing violence, which he plans on accomplishing through the use of gang and violence task forces to address the growing rates of crimes and violence of citizens. He plans on addressing inflation by creating legislation to produce more relief on the economy.
His current term is set to expire on March 15, 2026, and a fourth term could depend heavily on how he performs during this term. He has proposed a slew of legislation and if he is successful in getting the legislation passed, he may just win a fourth term in 2026.
