President John McCallum gives his final State Of The Union Address on January 1, 2024, to a joint session of Congress.
NEWS 28 - President McCallum on Monday gave his final State of the Union address to a joint session of the 83rd Congress, that he helped open. During the State of the Union, President McCallum to deliver on several promises he made at the start of his Presidency. He also alluded to complete the promises he made before leaving office in November.
During the SOTU, he promised to address and fix the ongoing border crises, that have become prominent as the war between Russia and Ukraine, as well as between Israel and Palestine rage on. He says he will get the border under control, by the time he leaves office. With the Jesstopian borders being closed since January 11, 2023, it has become increasing difficult for Border agents to stop the influx in illegal border crossings.
He also promised to fix the economic woes the nation faces as inflation continues to skyrocket nationwide. He has issued that the Government budget for 2024 is no longer valid, and that Congress needs to find a resolution to the budgeting issues that are facing the Country. He has issued several executive orders that are increasing drilling facilities, issuing directives to farms and other food manufacturing plants to reduce their operational costs to reduce costs of foods and other goods.
President McCallum is continuing to address other issues as well and he says he will keep working hard as he prepares to finish his final year in office.
