NEWS 28 - President Jay Laylin has announced that the full military withdrawal from Ukraine has been completed and that no other Jesstopian troops remain in Ukraine after a 5 months of the troop withdrawal. The withdrawal was estimated to take until March, but was later changed to December, The troop withdrawal was finally completed when the last plane left Ukraine on its way back to the United States Of Jesstopia.

The Nationalist House confirmed that the final troops have returned home, and the President confirmed the troop withdrawal via X, before giving a press conference announcing the completion of the withdrawal. A war that Jesstopia should never have gotten involved with."

The president continued to address the need for a ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, and a long-term plan to maintain peace between Israel and Hamas. He says when he meets with US President-Elect Donald Trump in February he plans on discussing the very topic, and working to end the global wars that started under President Joe Biden.

"We are a little behind schedule, but we are starting to pull troops out of Ukraine, as the final phase of the full military withdrawal of Ukraine begins," said Defense Department Secretary Michael Van Heusen. "With the final part of the military withdrawal now started, we estimate that the final troops will leave Ukraine sometime in late February early March. "There has been a lot of backlash for abandoning Ukraine, but what people fail to understand is the financial cost of continuing to post troops there. On top of that, Ukraine has defaulted on many of its financial agreements with our country," said Senate Majority Leader Larry Cofelt. "We are no longer obligated to provide Military support to Ukraine, if one, it doesn't pay back its bills. Just like if you fail to pay your electric bills, your electric gets turned off, if Ukraine fails to pay its military support bills, that support is cut off. It's really common sense."
