NEWS 28 - Governor Lynn Rodgers is seeking a second term as New Shire's governor in 2026, as she works to build up a strong record. If she is reelected during the 2026 New Shire Gubernatorial Election, she would serve New Shire's first four year term. She has built a strong profile with her inflation reduction measures, promoting social programs and funding further programs for veterans and the homeless.
Rodger's office said that she had a big campaign plan ready to go as soon as her candidacy filings are approved by the Federal Elections Board. Rodgers has served as the Governor Of New Shire since May 2024. She has played a key role in pushing for more social programs, programs that were specifically designed for the lower class of New Shirens. She also established several drug force task forces, working in conjunction with other states to combat the drug problem that New Shire faces.
"I know there is much more to be done, and I know that together, here, we can accomplish anything that we put our mind to," said Governor Lynn Rodgers. "We have so much potential to be the strongest most independent state of our fellow 12 states. We must continue our mission to provide programs that benefit the underserved, economy that works for all New Shirens, and to help curb illegal immigration to prevent the safety of our beautiful state. That is why I am announcing right now, my intention to seek reelection as the 45th Governor Of New Shire."
She is set to address her supporters in Towton County on Thursday where she will discuss her plans to further the economic progress her administration has made, and the jobs she created with the help of the New Shire people.
