President Jay Laylin set to resume Presidential duties tomorrow 10 days after a shooter attempted to take his life in Towton, New Shire.
RUFUS - President Jay Laylin is set to return to work tomorrow, just 10 days after his shooting. The president's health has been deemed sufficient enough to return to his duties. The President wasn't expected to return to work until January 31, but the Nationalist House confirmed that he was eager to get back to work.
The President's decision to return to work, reaffirms his commitment to the people of the United States Of Jesstopia. He is receiving praise for his eagerness to return to work, but is also drawing concern from his allies, who say he is risking his health to return to work less than two weeks since his shooting.
The President is set to be back in the President's office tomorrow, and his schedule is unknown as of now. The Nationalist House Press Team says they are not ready to release his schedule, pending the President's approval. They did say they hope to have it released by Friday.
"We know that the President's schedule has been all over the place, and we are work as quickly as possible to ensure that the Jesstopian people are aware of the President's meetings and events," said Nancy Yates, NH Press Secretary. "We will continue to provide the necessary updates as we are able to provide. Several meetings are required to be excluded from the President's schedule for the safety and security reasons."
The President hasn't issued a statement yet regarding his return to the Nationalist House, but sources close to the president did say he was grateful for the support and looked forward to returning to work hard for the people of the United States Of Jesstopia.
