RUFUS - Outgoing President John McCallum was honored by the servicemen and woman of the Jesstopian Armed Forces. The president was gifted several keepsakes and was awarded several military accolades in the close door ceremony. President McCallum was honored for his withdrawal from both Ukraine and Israel, and was honored for his dedication to pushing forward more protections for service men and woman of the LGBTQ.
"President John Henry McCallum is hereby awarded the Military General's Leadership And Strategic Operations Medal for his actions in withdrawing troops from the frontlines in Ukraine and Israel," said the MC. "This award is given to any president or head of state that for the purpose of preserving life and liberty, withdraws troops from an active war zone, concurrent that it won't risk the mission of the ally nation."
The President spoke to the men and women in uniform after parading through lines of the men he will soon no longer lead. He spoke about their bravery, dedication to service and loyalty to the United States Of Jesstopia.
"I just want to thank each and everyone of our incredible men and women in uniform. For the brave sacrifices you all make each and ever day," said President McCallum. "You tirelessly go to war to uphold the ideals and freedoms that we so enjoy here in the great United States Of Jesstopia. You sacrifices and selfless service has never been forgotten and the people of this great country thank you for your dedication, selfless service and for the willingness to serve and protect others. I am so proud to be your commander-in-chief and I know that your loyalty and service will forevermore, remain strong in my heart and mind. I pray for you all as you continue your military careers and my hope is that god watches over each and every one of you and hope that every mission you have during your time in the military and is successful."
The President closed out the events giving one final salute to the military, before taking a seat. One final military review-of-the-troops was conducted, and the President seemed to get emotional during it. The President said that being the commander-in-chief is one of the most stressful jobs in the world and the entirety of the United States Of Jesstopia.
For now, President McCallum awaits tomorrow's inauguration of the incoming President and Vice President, and says he will quietly attend the Inauguration of both men.
"Now that my time as President is over, I will fall back from public life, temporarily and focus on things I thoroughly enjoy," said President McCallum. "This job has been a great honor and one of the greatest privileges of my life. I thank the people of our armed forces, people of this country and the people of my family and team for their trust and faith they placed in me."
