ALDEN - Voters in Mesa hit the polls starting at 7:00 this morning to elect the Governor, Lieutenant Governor and Attorney General of the State. The election is likely to take a few days to call, due to the recent certification of the 2024 Presidential Election.
Over 4.6 million voters are expected to hit the polls by the end of the voting cycle. The State has remained Republican for the last 10 years and they are hoping to keep control of the Governor's office, State Senate and House.
"Voters are looking for the stronger candidate, and Joshua Adamson continues to prove he is the strongest candidate by the policies and bills he has signed into law," said Greg Coolidge, a political commentator for Political Insight With Beth Shaw. "As voters vote today, they are likely to vote similar how the state voted during the 2024 Presidential Election that saw Jay Laylin elected as the next President of the United States Of Jesstopia and the first Republican head of state of the country. It is heavily likely that Adamson will win a first full term, if the 2024 Presidential election is any indication."
Experts say that it is still too early to give a prediction on who will win the 2024 Mesa Gubernatorial Election at this time, but many experts say it could easily be Joshua Adamson. Voters who gave Jay Laylin the state during the presidential election, could give Joshua Adamson the same win for his state.
