NEWS 28 - President John McCallum and Nationalist House officials announce that phase three of the Jesstopian Military withdrawal will begin on Monday, as part of the countries strategic pull out of Ukraine. The withdrawal from Ukraine began on September 1, 2024.
"We are looking to strategically remove troops from Ukraine, and our hope is that the process will take less than six months and hopefully less," said Secretary Of Defense Micheal Van Heusen. "We can't just pull all troops out at once, as it will result in us loosing the strategic advantage. This process is generally slower so that no service members are killed while being withdrawn from Ukraine."
President McCallum said that he is hopeful that the next Presidential administration will see all troops removed from Ukraine by February 2025. The President also expressed that he wants the troop withdrawal to go as smoothly as possible.
"We are hopeful that this withdrawal will go as smoothly as possible," said President McCallum. "The smoother and quicker the withdrawal goes, while doing it safely, the better it is for our country and service members. It's time we bring them home."
