NEWS 28 - 2024 Presidential nominee Thomas Cooke hosts Nationalist, Republican and unsure voters at a town hall where he was asked dozens of questions about topics important to voters ahead of election day in 10 days. During the questions, Cooke answered some of the most important questions that concern issues that could boost his popularity in polls.
But as voters prepare to hit the polls in 10 days, Thomas Cooke held a town hall where he took questions from voters, who want to know where he stands on specific issues. He was asked a series of questions related to the economy, the Justice system, health care and high inflation, caused solely by the Nationalist Party.
He was asked about how he would address the countries crippling inflation, and he told voters that he would work to reduce the cost of living, gas prices and ensure oil was drilled and distributed here in the United States Of Jesstopia. He expressed the need to drill Jesstopia's oil for Jesstopian cars.
On the economy, he was asked what he would do to create more jobs and bring back jobs from China and overseas. He explained that it was 'essential' that 'China stopped receiving Jesstopian money for products that could be made here at home.'
He expressed a deep need to bring jobs back from China, and boost the economy in various ways to ensure that Jesstopia's economy remains strong, ensuring strong relations with other nations. He said that is also key to lowering the cost of living as well.
On health care, Cooke was asked about what he would do to improve health care in Jesstopia, and what programs would be offer if her were to create his own health care plan. He was also asked how he would work to ensure full coverage for members of the health care plan.
He responded saying that health care providers would have more options in health plans and would be required to accept at least of 92% of healthcare insurances to remain in business, and said he would mandate a 25% cut in out of pocket costs, working with major health care networks to accomplish this goal.
He was then asked about judicial system and what he would do to stop widespread corruption within the system itself. In one of the strongest responses he has given since starting his campaign bid, he expressed that he would fight corruption by implementing an internal board that reviews the conduct of the agency, but would be a private firm.
He also suggested that Congress would have more oversight of the Justice Department and says that Congress should have the power to investigate fully the Justice Department.
