President McCallum Says Second Phase Is Behind Schedule, But The Third Phase Will Make Up For The Delay.
RUFUS - The Jesstopian Federal Government has announced that it has begun the second phase of the full military withdrawal from Ukraine. It did acknowledge that it was behind schedule on the second phase, but says it will make up for the late start of phase two in phase three.
The Governor begun pulling non-essential equipment, technology and weaponry out of the country, and will begin flying shipments of equipment back to the United States Of Jesstopia. Ukrainian allies have already begun destroying records, data and other classified information that could harm the United States Of Jesstopia and Ukraine if it got into the hands of Russia.
"We are pleased to have begun phase two of the military withdrawal from Ukraine, albeit a little late, we are still coordinating with Ukraine as non-essential equipment, files and other classified information is removed from Ukraine," said President McCallum. "There is still so much that needs to be done and we expect this process to last about 5 weeks, as we look to remove every last bid of Jesstopian Equipment and intelligence out of Ukraine. We expect the troop withdrawal to begin in late October. We expect that process to take about 5-6 months."
The Department Of Defense says that it is working with Russia to ensure that troops are kept safe as they exit Ukraine, and ensure that peace is maintained while Jesstopian troops remain in Ukraine. The President continues to call Russian President Putin to give updates as to the progress of the military withdrawal and has vowed "continued cooperation between the two countries."
"Our intelligence agencies are keeping us informed about what Russia is doing as we continue our withdrawal from Ukraine, which is slated to end sometime in April or May," said Secretary Of Defense Micheal Van Heusen. "We are always looking to get the full withdrawal before that date but this is when it is expected to be concluded. We will provide consistent updates as we move closer to the conclusion of the military withdrawal."
