President John McCallum arrives back to the Nationalist House on August 18, 2024, following a meeting with Ukrainian Embassy personnel. The meeting was used to discuss the full Military Withdrawal of Jesstopia from Ukraine starting September 1.
RUFUS - The Jesstopian withdrawal from Ukraine began early this morning, and already, 1,300 Jesstopian civilian employees in Ukraine have been withdrawn from the country. The Nation plans to withdraw all Jesstopians from the country within the next three months, and announced flights into and out of the country over the next six months.
"This morning I authorized phase one of the military withdrawal of Ukraine to begin, with civilian employees being removed first," said President McCallum. "I will continue to monitor the progress of the withdrawal as it happens. We are focusing much of our attention on air support and security as these airlifts happen over a war torn country."
The Jesstopian Air Force has been tasked with protecting the airlifts that will happen within the next six months. According to Defense Secretary Micheal Van Heusen, the military withdrawal would take about 6 months, which is the timeline currently in effect.
"Discussion with President McCallum, during our meetings last month, to determine a definitive timeline of the full military exit from Ukraine, was set at six months," said Defense Secretary Micheal Van Heusen. "The timeline and planning took over 4 months with it now being executed this month. We are ready with the cooperation and air support of the Air Force."
Air Force Secretary, Timothy Lasso announced that the air force would provide air security to the transport planes that were flying in and out of Ukraine to ensure their successful delivery of Jesstopian civilians and employees out the country.
"We are working closely with the Defense Department, the Nationalist House and the Jesstopian Embassy in Ukraine to coordinate the safe return of Jesstopian civilian employees back to the United States Of Jesstopia. We are always monitoring our routes for threats to the airlifts."
Ukraine has always vowed to support the air convoys, providing fighter jets and other ground based protections, even though Russia promised to allow Jesstopian airlifts and convoys to take place without fear of military intervention.
Work to continue removing Jesstopian nationals, embassy employees and civilian employees were be carried out throughout the next few days. Updates are being provided by the Nationalist House, President McCallum and the Defense Department.
