RUFUS - The Nationalist House has just announced that it will begin pulling troops from Ukraine starting on September 1. The move comes almost a week after President McCallum announced the withdrawal from Ukraine. Furthermore the withdrawal from Israel is currently being discussed according to sources close with the President.
"The President has made it very clear that we will begin pulling troops out of Ukraine starting September 1," said Nationalist House Press Secretary Joshua Smite. "The President has made it clear that he doesn't want another Jesstopian citizen, civilian worker, solider or Jesstopian national killed in Ukraine. Many leaders around the world are urging the President to reconsider before the withdrawal process commences on September 1, 2024. He has remained against reversing course and says the withdrawal of Troops will go on as planned."
The Jesstopian Department Of Defense says that it deployed letters to all military personnel notifying them of the President's planned withdrawal of troops. Service men and women around Ukraine will be withdrawn in an organized process.
"I am ready to bring this incredible people back home, where they belong," said President McCallum. "Their families miss them and they've done a great service to our great nation and its time they come home. This withdrawal will go on as planned, even as calls from foreign leaders for me to reconsider mount. I will not be tempted or swayed into reversing course."
"President McCallum's decision to withdraw from the Ukraine is supported not only by the House, but the Senate as well," said Speaker Gretchen LeWolf. "While I will not speak on the Senate's decision I can assure everyone that this withdrawal was a long decision process and we didn't make the decision lightly. We are behind the president and his final decision."
Senate Majority Leader Larry Cofelt says that the Senate is happy to support the Troop withdrawal from Ukraine and says that President McCallum is making the right decision.
"There has been a lot of backlash for abandoning Ukraine, but what people fail to understand is the financial cost of continuing to post troops there. On top of that, Ukraine has defaulted on many of its financial agreements with our country," said Senate Majority Leader Larry Cofelt. "We are no longer obligated to provide Military support to Ukraine, if one, it doesn't pay back its bills. Just like if you fail to pay your electric bills, your electric gets turned off, if Ukraine fails to pay its military support bills, that support is cut off. It's really common sense."
Ukraine is preparing to see Jesstopian troops leave Ukraine for the last time starting on September 1, 2024. We will continue to see Ukraine attempt to change President McCallum's mind, which many foreign nationals are doing.
