The Nationalist House says that the United States Of Jesstopia would be pulling out the Russia-Ukraine war, it has been a part of since April 2022.
NEWS 28 - Jesstopian Officials say that the country is preparing to exit the Russia-Ukraine War after serving a little more than 2 years in the nation, defending Ukraine's borders, and sending over 200 billion dollars to the country, over 65 million guns, ammunitions, tanks and other military equipment.
President McCallum's Defense Secretary says that it is part of three point plan, that could not be discussed at the time.
"We've lost enough soldiers, and their families didn't ask for this war, and although Jesstopia declared war against Russia under my Presidency, we will remain determined to get all of our troops out the battlefield within the next month," said President McCallum, who will leave office in less than 4 months. "We want to end our nation's involvement in the war, and we are dedicated to doing just that."
The call comes as the United States Of Jesstopia is preparing a full, permanent withdrawal from Hamas and the Gaza strip following Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit with US President Biden, former US President Trump and US House Speaker Johnson.
"The President has made it very clear that he wants to pull the United States Of Jesstopia out of the Russian-Ukraine war," said Nationalist House Press Secretary Joshua Smite. "What I can tell you is that the President has issued directives to his Military generals to begin to prepare for a coordinated withdrawal from the war. That's all we can give you all right now."
The United States Of Jesstopia entered the Russian-Ukraine conflict on April 2, 2022, after the assassination plot was discovered by the Jesstopian Intelligence community. This prompted Congress to quietly declare war on Russia. Jesstopia's involvement in the war was heavily contested by Republicans and Jesstopian citizens themselves. Calls for McCallum and members of Congress to rethink their decisions led to violent protests nationwide.
But now that Jesstopian officials are beginning the withdrawal process, many see that as "nothing more than a political move," citing "how close it is to election day." The withdrawal will likely take part in multiple parts and multiple levels.
Support for the country's withdrawal has been strong since it was publicly announced that is was at War with Russia. According to the Defense Department, it has sent over 65 million guns, ammunition, tanks, military vehicles and other military equipment to Ukraine. The Jesstopian Treasury says that the United States Of Jesstopia issued over 200 Billion dollars to the country.
Support for Ukraine, continued to wane as Jesstopian citizens began expressing anger with the Jesstopian Government for sending so much taxpayer money to Ukraine.
"It's ridiculous that I work and pay my taxes, for my money to go to Ukraine," said a concerned citizen. "It's bullsh_t if you ask me. Our money should be used to ensure our homeless veterans are housed, ensure our veterans are being properly cared for. Our money shouldn't be funding a foreign war, that we shouldn't have been apart of in the first place. McCallum will forever be remembered as the President who spent billions on Ukraine and not its citizens and will be remembered as the greatest failure in the role as Commander-in-Chief."
