NEWS 28 - Mesa Governor Joshua Adamson flew to Nox City to visit with Kirk Paul's family as he continues to fight for his life at Nox City Medical Center. The Governor did not take questions or request for comment by the press as he promptly entered and left the hospital at the start and end of his visit with his family.
Governor Adamson did release a statement on the Governor's website early this evening related to the shooting and how people can aid in the investigation. He didn't specify what condition Paul was in and viewers only know the condition of him by reports given to the press by doctors and other members of Paul's medical team.
When asked what his condition was, Adamson responded with "that is not my place to say." Press members asked him about when he plans on visiting again but the governor never gave a definitive answer to that question.
When he arrived back to Alden, he gave a press conference to his press corp and had this to say.
"It was a sad visit, but one I'm glad I got to take," said Governor Adamson. "Being there for a family who needs all of the support that they could need, is what that visit was about. Not to make any statement. My place is being Governor, not giving out the Paul family's business. They can make statements on his condition but that is not for me to do."
