ALDEN - Governor Joshua Adamson has made a special trip to visit his predecessor at Nox City Medical Center and to meet with his family as they navigate their ongoing reality as Paul continues to fight for his life.
The Governor did not stop to take questions from the reporters before and after he visited the Paul family, showing that he has made up somewhat with what he former boss did, and to show he is there for the family.
Governor Adamson did release a statement on the Governor's website early this evening related to the shooting and how people can aid in the investigation. He didn't specify what condition Paul was in and viewers only know the condition of him by reports given to the press by doctors and other members of Paul's medical team.
When asked what his condition was, Adamson responded with "that is not my place to say." Press members asked him about when he plans on visiting again but the governor never gave a definitive answer to that question.
When he arrived back to Alden, he gave a press conference to his press corp and had this to say.
"It was a sad visit, but one I'm glad I got to take," said Governor Adamson. "Being there for a family who needs all of the support that they could need, is what that visit was about. Not to make any statement. My place is being Governor, not giving out the Paul family's business. They can make statements on his condition but that is not for me to do."
