ALDEN - Former Mesa Governor Kirk Paul has been moved to Nox City Trauma where he will undergo comprehensive and life-saving surgery to remove bullet fragments from the shooting he was involved early this morning. The governor was rushed to Alden Medical Center, where they attempted to save his life.
According to sources, he is not out of the woods and is quite far from it. He was shot in the chest, and that is where multiple vital organs reside. Doctors say he will need to undergo multiple surgeries to replace most of the damages caused by the bullet.
"The transfer to Nox City Medical Center will give him a better chance at survival by providing surgical tools not currently available here at Alden Medical Center," said Alexis Paul, his wife. "We are hopeful that he pulls through and Nox City Medical Center furthers our hope."
"We our hopeful that by transferring Paul to Nox City Medical Center, he will be able to make a full recovery," said one of Paul's doctors. "We want him to have the best chance at survival here, and Nox City Medical Center is the perfect place for him to have a chance. I have faith in Nox City Medical Center to be able to give Paul a second chance at life."
