PLATTSVILLE - Governor Robin O'Keeffe is leaving office tomorrow, and she will reluctantly hand the reigns of Cameron to David Spane, who has already expressed interest in reversing several policies signed by Governor O'Keeffe including restricting access to abortion care, and rejected the ideals of teaching LGBTQ propaganda in schools.
"My first day in office will be dedicated to reversing a lot of harmful policies of Governor Robin O'Keeffe," said Governor-Elect David Spane. "We will work to address this policies head-on, to ensure that Cameroons will be able to live without the fear of being attacked for their beliefs in "two-genders," and the "silencing 'Anti-LGBTQ Hate Crime' Bill."
Spane will be the first Republican to lead Cameron in over 20 years, and will be the first Republican Governor to win a majority of the vote against a Nationalist incumbent in the last 50 years.
The swearing in ceremony will take place at 9:00 AM on Friday, and the oath of office will be administered by Cameron Supreme Court Justice David Reid. The ceremonies will be televised and reported on the radio as well as in newspapers across the state.
