JESSTOPIAN NEWS NETWORK - Rufus County officials are in the midst of backlash from bans on adult content that was signed into law by President John McCallum, which was passed on April 4, 2024, but was sent to the Nationalist House until the next on April 5, 2024. The bill was signed into law, which allowed the Federal government to temporarily ban adult content on platforms nationwide, as well as online media, magazines, private work projects(music, YouTube and other social media platforms), pornography websites and others. The ban has sparked outrage and protests have been popping up all across the country.
"The President has just violated his oath of office, third time during his Presidency that he has violated said oath," said a protester who says the groups want to make their voices heard. "It's not that we can't watch porn, or adult films, its the premise of the government trying to overstep, as it has done under the rule of the Nationalist Party led Government. We need serious change and I urge Thomas Cooke to drop out and declare a Republican the winner of the 2024 Presidential campaigns."
Cooke has not yet made it known what he will do under the authority that the President has given the state governors with the Jesstopian military, but has made it clear that he will not allow destruction of private, personal or Government property and has deployed the New Shire National Guard, and the New Shire State Police to protect and defend the Government District of Rufus County, and says arrests are being authorized, something that he signed in a list of executive orders this afternoon.
"I signed executive order 200.163, that is authorizing the Jesstopian Governors to use the Jesstopian military to disperse protesters, and to utilize any emergency resource available," said President McCallum. "These protests will end if we want to move forward as a country. Divided or together, our nation will be Adult Content Free."
