NEWS 28 - The United States Of Jesstopia and its Defense Department say that due to Israel's continued attacks on the Gaza strip and the recent air strike that killed 7 aid workers, and its lack of care for the advice given to it by NATO nations, it is now deemed an Enemy of the State, something Congress quickly Enacted. The declaration was supported by all Nationalists and several Republicans.
"The President and I sat down for at least 2 hours to discuss the next steps moving forward and what our country can do to weaken Netanyahu's grip on Gaza," said Defense Secretary Heusen. "We talked about sanctions against Israel, including on assets of Netanyahu, which US President Biden has agreed to do. We will also cut official military ties as well as diplomatic relations with Israel permanently. We will remove weapons from Israel as troops continue to use Jesstopian arms in their fights against Palestine and Hamas."
Calls for President McCallum to issue world-wide arrest warrants for Netanyahu for "high crimes" and "war crimes" continue to mount. McCallum supporters say that the President does not have that authority nor would he use that authority if he was to gain it.
"The notion that President McCallum can just issue world-wide arrest warrants for leaders of other democratic nations is beyond unfounded," said Jackson Waldorf. "He can't issue these global arrest warrants, only NATO or a global alliance can do such an action."
