Governor Linda Lee Giving Her Inaugural Address After Being Sworn In For Second Term On March 15, 2024.
NOX - North Lorray Governor Linda Lee is has been sworn in for her second term and has vowed to "fight drugs and violence." Lee who has served as Governor since 2022, said that she is committed to investing in state programs including welfare programs, reduce crime and strengthen penalties for those who run drugs in North Lorrayan streets.
"I am also committed to providing funding for important state programs including increasing spending funding on wellfare programs, reduce crime and promote drug-free streets by increasing penalties for those who choose to run drugs on our State's streets," said Governor Lee. "I am committing at least 1.16 Billion dollars in funding to address the homelessness crisis that has plagued not only our state, but the entirety of the United States Of Jesstopia."
She also committed to addressing the terrorism that has plagued the State the last 2 years, and says she will work with President McCallum and the Nationalist House to address those concerns.
"I will also commit to addressing the terrorism crisis that has terrorized our State and Nox City. After today's ceremonies, I will fly to New Shire and meet with President John McCallum and work on solutions to secure our land, sea and air borders and ensure that no terrorism can continue to occur here and around the country." continued Lee. "We are committing 250 million dollars to protecting our land, sea and air transportation networks and ensuring that domestic and international terrorists are caught well before entering our country."
Her current term is set to expire on March 15, 2026. She joins fellow incumbents Hilson Governor Westley Bronson in their new terms today. She is expected to sign her first executive orders of the new terms starting tomorrow.
