JESSTOPIAN NEWS NETWORK - Nationalist Party candidate and gubernatorial front-runner Lynn Rodgers has been nominated as the New Shire Nationalist party’s nominee for governor in 2024.
She was certified the nominee of the 2024 New Shire gubernatorial elections at little after 6:30 this morning. The party says they are very pleased with the nomination and say they figured she be their nominee. The party also announced that she was their first choice for their nominee.
”We are very pleased with her nomination,” said Nationalist Party President Joseph Heinrich. “She was the state of New Shire’s first choice and the rest of the Party around the nation agreed that she was the best choice. We look forward to retaining a majority in state and federal governments.”
Rodgers late this afternoon gave a speech thanking the party for its confidence and support during this process.
”I would like to thank the New Shire Nationalist party for its support during this entire process,” said Lynn Rodgers. “I also thank them and all of my supporters for the confidence in me to lead the state of New Shire and put me up against the Republican Party. I hope we can win in April to better the lives of all New Shirens.”
Presidential Nominee Thomas Cooke also expressed great support for her election in April. He cited New Shire’s long record of electing men to the office.
”Our state has a record of electing a man to serve as New Shire’s Governor,” said Thomas Cooke. “While we elect men to this office, it is important that this office is adapting and changing with time. A women governor will bring a fresh prospective to this office and it will allow the state to move forward. I look forward to Mrs. Rodgers’ election in April and wish her all of the success in the world.”
Her brother, Former Lt. Governor Gary Rodgers said he is unbelievably proud of his sister. He says she will bring new challenges to the office of New Shire’s Governor and will make “progressive change.”
