NEWS 28 - As Day 6 of the October 29 hearing got underway, it was expected that Sharron Diez would give Congress more evidence but she never did. She did however provide a list of witnesses or could attest to her testimony, and provided that these people were close and respected members of her team during her tenure.
"I have several members of my staff that are willing to testify on my behalf and ensure investigative progress," said Sharron Diez. "These members were respected and trusted members of my administration and who were witnesses to the abuses endured by the office at the hands of the President."
The witnesses could potentially delay President McCallum's testimony as Congress works to build up an even stronger case against the President, and even consider launching another impeachment inquiry.
Additional testimony will force Congress to push back President McCallum's hearing dates as they work to sift through evidence and statements in the coming days and the upcoming week.
But today's testimony has revealed that President McCallum is a relatively hateful person who continues to abuse his power. In a statement recently released by Sharron Diez she supported that sentiment.
"The President cares about himself and himself only. He has disgraced this nation as he works to further his image of good guy when in reality who doesn't really care," wrote Diez. "He just doesn't give two craps about the people who work under him. It was pretty clear when three people resigned from his cabinet back in December of last year. He is a hateful bastard."
