RUFUS - Day 3 of the investigation into the Gaza air strike has yielded significant evidence that supports a lack of strong leadership and and has been a factor in placing some blame on President McCallum for the Gaza air strike.
”I fucking told you what to do and you disobeyed me, Sharron. You’ve have been a thorn in my side since retaining you and if you don’t launch the missile as I have said, you will lose your fucking job,” according to the audio released during the Gaza Air Strike hearings shows. “Launch the goddamn missiles.”
The audio heard was President McCallum berating and threatening the job of former Defense Secretary Sharron Diez during the October 29 air strike she claims was threatens into doing.
”My continued pleas to confirm who was in the the building were ignored and I continued to reason with the already angry President,” said Diez. “I continued to try to change the mind of the President but he was insistent that the launch happened then and now.”
Continued audio even uncovered that this likely might have been a planned launch that the President knew would end in the deaths of those kids. The auditors is quoted.
”This launch better happen today, I don’t care if there are kids in there, I want the compound leveled by the end of the night,” McCallum was heard saying. “If it doesn’t happen I will order troops in there with dozers to level the place.”
President McCallum has continued to maintain his innocence even after the audio has come out showing his anger towards her and entire situation.
”The audio doesn’t paint the whole picture of what happened,” said the President. “The audio has been manipulated to make it seem if I was yelling at her throughout the whole situation. The Thorn comment was about her disobeying orders from other members of my cabinet. It had nothing to do with the missile strike.”
More information is expected to be released in the future.
