NEWS 28 - Vice President Sam Simon is in critical condition following a rollover crash that resulted in the VP being ejected from his Vice Presidential Limosuine. The Vice President was airlifted to Nox City Medical Center where he is undergoing extensive assessments and may need arm and wrist surgery.

"VP Simon is in critical condition, and as of now, we will be monitoring him for the next 5 days," said Nox City Medical Center doctors. "His injuries may also be more extensive than what bruising reveals. The Vice President will need multiple scans for his extensive injuries."

President McCallum will be flying to Nox City to be with Simon and his family. During Simon's time in the hospital, an investigation into what caused the crash is currently being determined. The Vice President was rushed to Nox City Medical Center due to its extensive trauma care unit. He is being closely watched by Presidential Protective Service Agents and will remain at NCMC for the next 5 days and his stay may be extended.

Many health experts are very unclear on the future of Simon, due to his extensive injuries from the crash. Many believe Simon is unlikely to walk again, and are holding little faith that he will survive the crash.
