RUFUS - Vice President Richard Banks is being investigated for Sexual Harrassment after two women came forward accusing the Vice President of making inapropriate comments and inapropriate touching. The Vice President's actions are currently being reviewed by the Senate and the House is beginning an impeachment inquiry against Banks, and could have a decision in as little as one month up to 1 year from now.
President McCallum hasn't made any comment about the accusations against the Vice President, and his Press Secretary has yet to make any further comment on the situation.
The Nationalist House has not yet returned our calls for comment and many Justice Officials are distancing themselves from the Vice President until the inquiry is completed.
Vice President Richard Banks has yet to respond to requests for comment related to the Senate and House's investigation. Banks is likely to be removed in found guilty. If he doesn't resign he would have three options. Resign, be impeached or be removed by President John McCallum. He would likely choose the first option.
Evidence is currently being collected for the investigation and the Senate is scheduled to convene for a special session to hear the evidence against the Vice President. The House is also scheduled to hear evidence collected by its investigators.
No further information is available at this time and investigators say that they will provide updates as the investigation proceeds.
