NEWS 28 - On Saturday, Roberto Central School District Superintendent Donnahue released a district-wide email, which was obtained by News 28, that he would be leaving before July 1, 2022.
The district email which was sent to district staff at 9:00 AM included the following statement:
"It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as this district's Superintendent and to be a driving force to these student's education. I hope that even when I'm gone this district continues to flourish under the leadership of Joe Smith. I just want to thank each and every single one of you for the support you have shown me over the years. Thank you for making my career a memorable one, and thank for making my last year pleasant. I will miss each and everyone of you. Thank You. Jack Donnahue. Superintendent Of Schools."
Superintendent Donnahue will hand the reigns to Joe Smith as the district's Superitendent on June 27, 2022. He will become the Superintendent and Luke Dobbins will become the interim Board President.
