RUFUS - According to a report filed by the Governors Office, Mr. Rodgers failed to report sexual conduct that was occurring in his office. The Governor has made several statements regarding the incidents but didn't directly take fault for no knowing about the situation sooner.
"We will continue to investigate this incident, and if need be remove Mr. Rodgers from the Office of Lt. Governor." said Governor Cooke. "My Office had absolutely know idea that this conduct was occurring, but if we knew, Mr. Rodgers would have been immediately relieved of his duties as Lt. Governor Of the Great State Of New Shire."
If the investigation finds that Mr. Rodgers participated in lude conduct, he could face impeachment and removal from office. It could also mark the the Governor negatively. The Governor who is running for President in 2024, could probably afford the publicity, as the Governor has kept his political image spotless, since taking over as Governor in September.
Lt. Governor Carson, has yet to make a statement on the current investigation, as per attorney instructions. According to investigative analysis, Rodgers will be out of office as early as April.
