Early on the morning of July 10, 2021 morning via district email, longtime Roberto Central School District Superintendent Jack Donnahue announced his departure from the district, after 11 years with the district.
"Dear District Staff, Faculty and Administrators,
I am emailing all of you to notify you that the 2021-2022 School Year will be my last year as your Superintendent. I've been pushing back retirement for several years now, but at this point, I feel as though it is time for me to step back and leave the career I've been so proud to be a part of. My life long goal has been to change the lives of the students that have entered our doors. I believe that I have been able to do that. My goal as this great district's Superintendent and policy and decision maker has always been for the students and employees of this district and to better educate our students.
I will send an email regarding my last day and when a new Superintendent has been selected and approved.
